If you feel a bit adventurous, you can head on over to the Junjung waterfall which is a bit further from the town area. Over there, you can cool down by the pool or even have a family picnic. Its open to the public daily, but do beware of some slippery spots if you plan to climb up the waterfalls.

Getting there is easy. From Kulim town, ask for directions to the new police station building. You will see a traffic light right in front of the building. From there, turn in left (assuming the police station on your right) and follow the road all the way until you reach Junjung town, which is a small town. You can see signboards to the waterfalls from there. Ask the locals for more information if you are not sure.
