Wake up call

This is the one true story that happened to me. Live and unedited.

It all started when I was in Kuala Lumpur to attend a function for 2 weeks. I stayed alone in Ar***a Hotel. Everything was as normal for the whole duration. On the last day, I went to have a medical check up plus having myself being X Ray-ed. It was a procedure to take off jewelry or pendants during the process. After that, I went back to the hotel, took a rest and came out for dinner. Dinner was good, and I walked back to the hotel after stuffing myself. Slept on the bed and watch some tv. Looked at the time, and it was around 10.30pm. Well, it was pretty early and I did feel very sleepy. So, having to wake up tomorrow to attend my function, I decided to just doze off.

I slept with a few lights on, and my tv was on too. And around 2am, I just woke up...didn't know why. I thought to myself, it was way to early and I went back to sleep. Strangely enough, I woke up again at 3am. Same thing. Still so early. Why do I keep waking up? Went back to bed and again, I woke up at 5 in the morning. Time is sure slow. I usually wake up around 7am and always complaining why there isn't more time to sleep. So, I just doze off after that. Finally, I woke up again at 6am. This time, I shut the TV off. I pulled up my blanket as the air conditioning was surely cold, even at the lowest speed.

I turned towards my right hand side, covering up till my neck. And I try to doze off again. Just as I close my eyes, I heard the shower door making a rude sound. The hotel room where I was staying, had a shower door. And each time I opened it, there is this cracking sound "taK!". So at that moment, I heard that particular sound. I was thinking, it could be the wind somehow? Ignoring that, I just continue closing my eyes. And just briefly after that sound, I heard footsteps...someone was walking out of the bathroom and onto the carpet. The footsteps sounded very lightly. But as soon as I heard it, my mind went blank!
What in the world is walking in front of me? My heart started beating wildly. My eyes just continued shutting as hard as I could. I decided not to open and hope everything is fine. I have 2 decisions to make...open my eyes and perhaps see something which could scare me a long time, or just play dumb and ignore it. I chose to play dumb. Footsteps came closer...and closer..and ended up just beside me, on my left hand side, while I was still sleeping facing my right hand side.

All of a sudden, the thing just rested on top of me. I could feel it pressing me slowly, and I could even feel it trying to take off my blanket slowly. My body froze. I felt warm as soon as it touches me. My heart was so loud, I could even hear it beating! My eyes were still tightly shut, trembling all the while. All I could think off, is for it to go away.
After 10 minutes, I could feel the weight slowly going away. I was still badly shaken by the whole experience. Not wanting to move, I just froze at the same position till 6.30am. After that, I slowly turn to my left side, looked at the clock and called the receptionist, asking for a change of room. I switched on my TV, and just laid on the bed till sunrise was all up at 7.30am. Worst part is, I still have to take a shower, in the same bathroom where the "thing" came from.

What did I do wrong? Perhaps my body was weakened by the medical checkup and the pendant I took off, I put it back on, backwards. Perhaps?
