Facts:
Line Dancing is dancing by both men and women standing in regular patterns of straight lines, all facing the same direction. The same steps are executed by everyone at the same time, with turns included during the dance.
This allows any individual to get into the dance floor without a partner. What you need is just a pair of comfortable shoes and let your mind flow with the music.
Line dancing popularity is the social, relax, fun and recreational aspect. Most of the dances are suitable for people of all ages. The speed varies too, and for some of the more energetic dances, a low impact aerobics workout is achieved.

Line dancing consist of the following dances:
Country, Latin, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Disco, Rock & Roll, Mambo, Tango and Waltz.

Line dancing is usually held in any open space or empty grounds as long as they are enough space for people to move around in. Don't be surprised by the music that is being played as many of the tunes are fast and always updated! Take a look at the picture gallery here.
